INTERNATIONAL UKLAD INSTITUTE
IN PARIS (IUI)

WHO WE ARE

Founded in July 2024, the association International UKLAD Institute in Paris (IUI), supports regenerative development and climate resilience in human settlements through the UKLAD method, created by Irina Irbitskaya. This methodology aims to protect human beings, nature, material and immaterial cultural heritage and strengthen communities’ resilience to climate change.

Cities, being at the forefront of climate impacts, play a crucial role in human survival. The UKLAD method helps reconnect individuals with their natural, cultural, and urban surroundings. By integrating traditional knowledge with contemporary solutions, it aims to fortify resilience, ensuring long-term adaptability and promoting quality of life, stability, and peace within communities. The aim of this methodology is to bolster health and well-being of communities by strengthening their resilience to climate change impacts.
